Archie Hamilton

Archie Hamilton has seen a remarkable rise through the ranks of the underground house and techno scene, becoming one of the most respected artists in his genre. Working across many facets of electronic music, Archie was an early originator of a new European sound, with his own unique take on minimal house and techno: his signature sound of rugged basslines and ethereal atmospherics has established itself firmly in the minds of clubbers around the world. Archie is a dynamic selector, accomplished producer and influential label owner. Having spent 10 years mastering his craft; cutting his teeth in the studio whilst managing A&R for his two imprints, Moscow Records and Moss Co., he reached a milestone in the summer of 2019 by releasing his debut album ‘Archive Fiction’. As a DJ, Archie’s reputation has grown as one of the foremost progenitors of a distinctive sound; his collection includes Classic 90’s gems and upfront club bombs – with a heavy proclivity towards his own unreleased original music and talent from his own imprints. He has performed at some of the world’s most illustrious parties, clubs and festivals from Sunwaves in Romania to Parklife in Manchester, whilst being a regular in UK establishments such as fabric in London and Leeds’ Mint Warehouse. Now established in both North and South America, Archie is also a fixture on the Ibiza circuit, performing at some of the island’s biggest parties including Circoloco, Music On and the closing of Amnesia in 2019.

East End Dubs

East End Dubs is imbued with the same urban grit, late night menace and subtle sense of mischief as the East London streets from which he takes his name. It has been that way since 2012 when he first broke through with a dark and infectious tech sound that has been jacking up dance floors all over the world.

His own productions are slick, texturally rich affairs that are perfectly sculpted to be a perfect mix of function and form: metallic and mechanical yet scuffed up with a real sense of soul, they diamond cut tools designed for maximum impact with minimal effort. East End Dubs very much considers himself a DJ first, producer second, and has done since he first started spinning 15 years ago. Since then he has spent untold hours lost in record bins, on Discogs, in stores around the world hunting for those most timeless records. It’s an addiction as much as a hobby and a passion, and means that this cultured selector keeps ‘floors locked into his stripped back but characterful grooves from dubbed out regions of the house, garage and tech worlds.

Madvilla

Madvilla is an artist from Southern California currently residing in London, UK. Having crafted his own unique “ghetto deep” sound, he has managed to land releases on labels such as Locus, No Art, Seven Dials, Strictly Rhythm as well as gain support from high profile artists such as Enzo Siragusa, Sidney Charles, Seb Zito, Kenny Dope, Todd Edwards, East End Dubs & more. With a rapidly growing fan base, he has been noted simply as “one to watch”.

Prok & Fitch

Ben Prok & James Fitch are one of the most exciting and acclaimed DJ/production duos in House music today. With their original tracks this year seemingly ubiquitous across Beatport charts and clubland alike, their rise to success has been swift and unrepentant. Staying current whilst building year-on-year in today’s music climate takes diversity, focus and raw talent, something that has earned Prok & Fitch the right to join a prestigious list of electronic music household names hailing from the UK’s hedonistic city of Brighton.

Summer Ghemati

From an early age, it was always apparent that Summer had formed an intimate connection with the commanding rhythm of House music. That sense of being, created through 4 to the floor rhythm, mesmeric percussion and robust drums has has driven her to emulate that same slice of personal euphoria for others, through unique and passionate levels of live performance. Summer’s signature rolling Tech House and garage infused sound serves a distinct purpose, she aims to manifest grooves that invoke free-movement and strike up whatever it is that lies deep within us, taking it back to a place in time where entire tribes of people would dance together to a beat. Her bare essentials/no gimmicks approach to musical avocation is commendable, in a sense that subtlety is paramount and using very little to create something so ample and pleasing is vital. It gives her a blank canvas on which to paint a picture throughout the length of her sets and enables her to take you on a journey.

Banksie

Owner os Shed London, Banskie has emerged into the scene and really made a name for herself! Once she steps behind the decks the party is pumping, her ability to read the crowd and dig deep for classics and new bangers makes her sets seamless. After her performing at our festival life in the park early on this year we had to invite her back down to Brighton to make an appearnace for out end of year celebration!

This NYE is looking to be a pretty special one after all being stuck indoors at home last year, LETS PARTY!

SLAP presents Chris Stussy, Prunk, Rossko & Fabe

A brand new project has emerged in Brighton… sounds that SLAP.

Kicking off the new brand in style we have a ridiculously big line up coming to The Arch featuring the likes of Chris Stussy, Prunk, Rossko, Fabe & Summer Ghemati. Taking over our brand new room ‘The Hanger’, resident Denney will be supplying an all night set while the Jammin crew take over ‘The Box’ Room.

Chris Stussy

Known for the vibes and energy he brings when he steps behind the decks Stussy is now renowned as one go the best in the house music scene, creating his own unique sounds from spending countless hours in the studio to perfect them has made his music really resonate with people who have a true love for the minimal-house sound. His selection when performing live is impeccable and his ability to really read the crowd and change the atmosphere at any show is whats making him stand out from the crowd. Previously he has worked with labels such a ‘PIV records’, ‘House Puff records’, ‘Inner City records’ and many more, the 26 year old then went on to become the owner and founder of ‘Up the Stuss’ which focuses on the wider spectrum of house music created for the dance floor!

Safe to say Chris is absolutely killing it and we’re super excited to welcome him down to The Arch.

Prunk

The PIV records label boss developed a strong love for house music at a very young age and by 16 years old was very attracted the the deep and jackin sounds of the genre however his search for new and better house heavily inspired him to produce his own music. His first remix release becoming successful and catching the ears of some big artists in the scene triggered him to really push his music and before no time he ended up playing some of the largest shows and festivals throughout the world. The success of his production combined with  dance floor oriented and uplifting sounds he plays at his sets got a lot of heads turning so its no wonder his label have done takeovers and residencies at some of the best clubs in the world!

Rossko

Rossko has been an integral part of the house and techno music scene in London and has firmly established his status and an electronic music DJ and Producer.

Those who have witnessed him perform will note not only his diversity in his track selection but his ability to create a vibe rather than just playing to a crowd meaning he can be found at both large scale and intimate events it’s no such as Circoloco, Kappa & Sonus festival, Robert Johnson, Sub Club & CDV to name a few. – Resident advisor.

Rossko is very well known for his illegal parties he used to throw ‘Cerca Trova’ which would take place in basements or wharhouses in his younger days and has now really earned his place in the industry due to his long lasting Fuse residency. He has a seriously big selection of house and techno and has shared his sounds across the world landing him regular shows in London and Ibiza.

Fabe

Fabe’s early roots consisted of 90s hip-hop but he soon found his way into electronic dance music and since 2010 has found himself working alongside many projects inclusive the famous Fuse events in London. This DJ/producer is constantly evolving himself mixing complex beat structures paired with classic house and grooves techno beats, his music production and sets are mainly influenced by his roots, shape-shifting through crowds and constantly interconnecting with them.

This event is shaping up to be a pretty special one for the brand new event concept… SLAP!
